HARDWARE & WORKFLOW AUTOMATION
Industrial Interfaces.
Turning a physical production event into a useful software action.
The problem
Existing workstation software needs to respond to real events on a production line. Someone repeatedly pressing the same key is a job a small, reliable bridge can do.
What I did
Built Arduino interfaces for grading, deboning and carcass-outloading workflows, translating sensor or button states into keyboard and mouse actions on the existing workstation.
Decisions that matter
- Trigger sequences distinguish real events from gaps.
- Cooldown logic prevents repeated actions.
- A revised grading implementation uses explicit states and action steps, with local indicator and buzzer feedback.
